Brego came to Borderlands with his herdmate, Maverick, on a cold October evening. He was thin, tired, and ready for a new lease on life. Brego was the first horse to use the refreeding program at Borderlands. Brego is a soft and timid being that loves to enjoy your quiet company. He’s always “checking in” and making sure you know he’s there with a slight tough of his nose to your arm. Brego is a gentle soul and wants nothing more than to be by your side. Due to an undiagnosed back injury, Brego is not rideable.
