Borderlands Horse Sanctuary is funded solely from donor support. Sponsoring a horse goes a long way in keeping the barn doors open and the hay barn full. The feed, veterinary, and farrier bills add up quickly for old horses but your support makes a big difference. Borderlands Horse Sanctuary is completely volunteer based, so you can be certain your funds are going directly to the horses.
Sponsorships can be a one time gift or a monthly gift. We offer several levels of Sponsorships:
- Full Sponsor: $100/month
- 1/2 Sponsor: $50/month
Sponsorship does not cover the cost of hay for that individual horse. Sponsorship covers grain, supplements, vet, and farrier. If you are interested in sponsoring a horse to cover his/her hay, please contact us at info@borderlandshorsesanctuary.com.
We always welcome visitors (by appointment) and encourage you to spend some time with the horses.
How Do I Sponsor a Particular Horse?
There are several options available. If a horse is listed as needing a Sponsor, you can simply donate the Sponsorship amount you desire via PayPal (www.paypal.me/borderlands), noting that the donation is for that specific horse. We will contact you via email to confirm we received the Sponsorship. Check out the current horses to see who needs sponsoring.
