Meet Digger

Quarter Horse

Digger made the long haul from North Dakota to Borderlands in September 2020 after his owners realized they couldn’t accommodate his increased health issues. Digger is a gentle soul (except when he’s jealous of his herd mate and wants to show he’s the boss). Digger does suffer from heaves and is over at the knees which makes him unrideable.

Digger is enjoying retirement and his nightly grain (where Borderlands staff hide his heaves medicine; luckily Digger doesn’t seem to mind the added flavor). We continue to learn more about Digger as the days progress and will update his page as we learn more about his likes and dislikes.
