Meet Mayhem
Quarter Horse Mare
Mayhem has really come into her own as she grows up. She came to Borderlands with her mother Rabbit Choker Nikki in September 2011 as a three month old filly. Mayhem has been the perfect mare to make the younger mares feel spry (and in return teach Mayhem manners and respect). Sadly Mayhem never received any training as she was always pushed to the back burner. She does battle a few health issues that are watched closely. Volunteers always know when there is a weather change because Mayhem tells everyone. Mayhem is a typical red mare and although she’s very kind and generous, she’s also very opinionated. She makes sure to kick up her heals and send all of her herd mates running just for fun.
